Mid-Year Update

Dear Valued Client,

It’s hard to believe, but it has been about four months since my last letter.  At that time I was announcing exciting progress as PFA registered with the SEC, becoming an independent Registered Investment Advisor.  I am pleased to report today that our dual-registration status with Mid Atlantic is winding down on July 31st, and our transition will be complete.  We owe you, our clients, a thank you.  Thank you for your continued confidence in our team; for coping with the mounds of paperwork and account changes; and for bearing with us during a very busy time.

The other group of people that require gratitude are the staff members here Penobscot Financial Advisors.  Everyone on Team PFA has been in overdrive since the start of the year.  They have worked diligently to ensure that every PFA client, built over an 18 year history, was effectively transitioned in just a four month period of time.  That is no small task, and we appreciate their hard work on and off the clock to make this happen.  We are fortunate to have such a great team.

This brings me to the reason for my communication today.  My last letter promised a follow up, introducing the members of our team and their role at PFA.  As we have prepared for our changes internally over the last 18 months, many of our roles & responsibilities have changed.  What is most important for you to understand is that we are a team, and our entire team specializes to support our clients.  As a small organization our people often wear multiple hats, but we each perform specific functions that are important in delivering your financial success.  Any member of our team is available to support you as needed.

Please click HERE for an overview of our team.  Please take the time to learn who they are and what they do.  Also feel free to reach out to any of them if needed, or just to get to know them.  I hope this is just a first step in understanding our organizational structure, and a means of getting to know some people who were just voices over the phone in the past.

On behalf of Team PFA, I am wishing everyone a warm and enjoyable summer of 2017!  I know our crew is in need of some time outside the office, and we hope you do the same!

Regards,

Craig Joncas
