Press Release: Penobscot Financial Advisors welcomes Associate Financial Advisor Rebecca Schuman

Portland, Maine, June 5, 2023– Penobscot Financial Advisors expands their advisory team with the addition of Topsham native Rebecca Schuman to its Portland office.

Rebecca’s undergraduate studies in Finance and International Business at the University of Maine, Orono led her to a position as an account manager for a local hedge fund administrator. Her interest in PFA began with an internship with the company during her undergraduate studies, and the opportunity to work closely with CEO and Financial Advisor Craig Joncas, CFP® during that time.

“Returning to PFA as an associate advisor was a no brainer,” said Schuman. “The people who work here are genuinely kind, and they care about their clients and the work they do.”

As an associate advisor, she is a member of a CFP® certified advisor team that has over 40 years of experience in financial planning and investment management and manages $360 million in assets. Rebecca is currently studying for her Series 65 examination and will join her colleagues in completing her CFP® studies in the near future.
