Financial Advisor

After growing up in Winslow, Tyler decided to continue his education at the University in Maine at Orono and studied Political Science/Pre-Law. After forgoing law school to test the law industry’s waters, Tyler discovered that being an attorney was not his true calling.

After some soul searching, he enrolled in the Financial Planning Program at Boston University and fell in love with financial planning and helping people reach their goals. This led Tyler to start his wealth management career with Morgan Stanley and begin the process of becoming a CFP. 

Today, Tyler focuses on creating meaningful and lasting relationships with our clients as he dedicates himself to helping them reach their financial goals. He also is very involved in the firm’s marketing and hosts the Financial Discretion Advised Podcast.  Tyler serves as the commissioner of the “PFA Football Pick’ Ems” league, where the Portland and Bangor offices compete for bragging rights and dinner.

Family and community are very important to Tyler, as he has spent time sitting on boards for the local United Way and is always up for a volunteering opportunity. 

Outside of work, Tyler loves to spend time with his two beautiful daughters, go golfing, and find a new adventure with his wife Nikki.
